What do we do?
A School for Life - We create opportunities for children to develop a deep understanding of how it is to live in a fulfilling and contributive way that builds a sense of stability, happiness, and belonging.
Small Class Sizes - We create a learning environment of small classes (10-20 students) within which children can experience their full potential, capabilities, capacities, skills, personal challenges, and ways of relating to the world and all that lives within it.
Why do we do it?
We believe that in a time when the future is unpredictable, it is important to develop an inner picture, independent of circumstances, of what a meaningful inner life can be. This supports health on a physical, mental and spiritual level.
When we know our capabilities, challenges, and how to overcome them, we have a sound foundation upon which to move into whatever circumstances may meet us, with a sense of confidence.
How do we do it?
Learning for Life - We do it by allowing school to be a “way of life” rather than a place where you come to prove what you know or what you don’t know. We allow each child the opportunity to feel what it is like to lead a meaningful, fulfilled life. It is not something one has to postpone until school is over. School itself is alive, real, authentic, with immediate possibilities for sensory experiences and thoughtful reflection.
