Careers at the New Village School

Join Our Village
At the New Village School, we believe education is a living relationship between children, teachers, and the world around them. Our school is a place where childhood is honored, creativity is nurtured, and learning grows through hands-on experience, nature, the arts, and meaningful human connection.
Founded in Sausalito and now in its eighteenth year, the New Village School is a small independent school inspired by the work of Rudolf Steiner, serving children from preschool through eighth grade. Our community is built on the belief that education should nurture the whole human being: intellectually, socially, emotionally, and creatively.
To work here is to join a village. Our teachers collaborate closely, share ideas, support one another, and build lasting relationships with students and families. If you believe education should be human, creative, and deeply connected to the world around us, we invite you to explore opportunities with us.
