2024-25 New Village School Parent-Led Camping Trip

All School Camp-out at River Bend Resort and Campground!

11820 River Road, Forestville, CA 95436

Check-in: Friday, Sept 6th, 2024, at 2pm

Check-out: Sunday, Sept 8th, 2024 at 11am

Campground Amenities:

Located right on the Russian River in Sonoma Country (little over an hour from NVS)
Cabins, RV sites, VW vans on premises (should be booked in advance and subject to availability)
Tent spots available in a large designated group site for New Village School families and friends
Has 3 play structures for children
Private beach with river access
Old fashioned arcade game room
General Store on premises
Area for basketball, soccer and horseshoe pit
Within a 15-minute drive to a few small towns (and large grocery store)

Pricing Details:

Pricing will include accommodations and an optional food fee which will cover 2 main entrees

Accommodations - Cabin/RV sites/VW vans

If you have already paid for your cabin/RV sites/VW vans, you only need to pay for food fees, if opting in

Camping in a tent spot: $55/person (free for children age 4 and under)

Accommodations – RV spots

Pricing for RV spots vary, depending on size and needs of RV. Please contact River Bend (707-887-7662) for availability

Food Costs (optional)

We will endeavor to eat together for our Friday and Saturday dinners
Food costs will cover entrees for 2 dinners:
- $25/person over 9 years of age
- $15/child between 5 and 9 years of age
- Meat, vegetarian, vegan and gluten-free options will be available
Parents would supplement the meal with appetizers, salad and/or desserts

Special Notes:

You may need to walk a short distance from the spot where you can unload from your car to your tent/cabin
Dogs are allowed at the campground at $25/dog
If you are able, please consider a donation for the camping trip! This will help those families who might not be able to afford this trip and/or help cover additional food and other general supplies that will be needed

After paying for your tent spots (above) and/or food fees, please use this google sheets page to reserve your tent site. The file shows the size of the tent site, the published maximum number of site occupants (and if additional occupants can be accommodated), and how many tents would fit in the site. As some sites can accommodate more than one family, please pair or triple up to fill the maximum number of occupants (as much as possible). I will be adding tabs in the google sheets to sign up for volunteer shifts and potluck items to bring.
